The Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) celebrated its fifth anniversary this year. The Society's Board of Directors invited a few select members and its management team to a strategic planning retreat (April 18-19, 2009), in order to revise CSIC's Mission, Vision and Values. The draft worked on at this meeting will be presented to the members for further input before the final version is decided upon.

Patrícia was one of 6 members (in addition to the board of directors and staff of CSIC) invited to attend the meeting and is looking forward to contributing to the Society's successful future.
In 2007, the Canadian Migration Institute (CMI) was founded. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC). While CSIC is responsible for regulating all authorized Canadian immigration consultants, CMI's main goals are to educate, accredit and advocate on Canadian immigration law and policies. Read more about CSIC and CMI on their websites,
http://www.csic-scci.ca/content/about
http://www.cmi-icm.ca/content/activity_content

Patrícia is a fellow of the Canadian Migration Institute (FCMI) and certified by CSIC as a Canadian immigration consultant.
